Project 365 - April 25-May 1

I got every day except for May 1. I'm not sure why I didn't take a pic, but I remember that the day was cloudy and cold, so inspiration is sometimes hard to find.

April 25 - Lilac Buds. It's almost time.

April 26 - Another gray April day. We had too many of those.

April 27 - New shoes. :)

April 28 - The time I set my alarm clock to get up for the Royal Wedding.

April 29 - Beautiful Spring morning. Finally.

April 30 - Finally fixing up our upstairs.

Sofia's Preschool Program

How is it possible that my little girl is already finished with her first year of preschool? Holy it went by fast! On Monday of this week, they had a preschool program with a graduation for all the kids. It was such a cute program even though Sofia decided that jumping off the steps and rolling around on the floor was more fun than singing with everybody else. *Sigh* Oh well, she had fun. She so enjoyed going to school, always asking when she could go again. Thankfully, right now she's attending Nursery School for 2 weeks so she doesn't go into complete withdrawal. But, I know she'll be happy when she can go back again next fall. She so loved her teacher and all of her classmates! Thank you Mrs. Enderson for everything you do!

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter, St. Arnold's hosted an Easter egg hunt at the MACC for kids. It was supposed to be at the park, but the weather wasn't cooperating like usual. They had different sections set up for different age groups. And each section had a ton of eggs. Sofia probably grabbed around 8 to 10 eggs, so she did pretty well. She didn't win one of the bigger prizes. But once I saw they were huge chocolate bunnies, I was ok with it. We had a chocolate bunny that hung around for 2 years, so we didn't need to keep another one. Sofia had a good time, and a big thanks to St. Arnold's for putting it on.

Lee's 40th Birthday

On April 23rd, Lee turned 40. Sofia and I had made him a cake and wrapped presents the night before. Later in the afternoon, we had a little "party" to celebrate. That evening, a group of us went to the casino for UFC fights and a little gambling. It was a good time. Happy Birthday Lee! We love you!

Project 365 - April 18-24

I did pretty good this week. I managed to take a picture every day. During this particular timeframe, Lee celebrated his 40th birthday, Sofia went on numerous Easter Egg hunts, and Easter came and went. But, I'll save explanations for following posts.

April 18 - Watching Thomas yet again.

April 19 - My completed 3-D Bobcat puzzle.

April 20 - Easter bag treats for Sofia's preschool class.

April 21 - Gave blood that day. I should have taken a picture of the giant bruise on my arm afterward.

April 22 - Our dyed Easter eggs.

April 23 - Lee's 40th Birthday

April 24 - Easter Sunday

Project 365 - April 11-17

Okay, truth be told: It's hard to think of something to take a picture of every day. So, I haven't been as true to this as I wanted to be. I'm trying, but I've skipped a few days here and there. Sometimes I can't think of anything, and sometimes I just forget. But, I'll keep at it. It will be kind of nice to look back and see (most of) the last in year in review.

April 11 - Making sure the lawn mower is working condition...if we ever get to use it.

April 12 - Proof that Sofia is my daughter.

April 13 - New Foo Fighters CD. I listened to this for about 2 weeks straight.

April 14 - The new books I received in the mail that day.

Sadly, I don't have pictures from the 15th (my Dad's birthday, even - Happy Birthday Dad!), the 16th or the 17th. So that's it for this week.
