2nd Flu Shot

The next day, I took Sofia to Fargo to receive her second flu shot. All in all, the appointment took about 2 minutes. Sofia did wonderfully (as usual). She cried for about 5 seconds, then was done. For such a short appointment, I can't believe what a hassle it was just to get in and out. It was freezing that day, which always makes things more difficult. Traffic wasn't fun, had to wait for a train, then I left one of Sofia's bottles in the waiting room. Ugh! I was exhausted when we finally got home. Our next well-baby check should go much smoother. It will be at the end of March, so weather should be nicer and NO shots next time. YEAH! Sofia and I will both like that. As for my little girl, she isn't crawling yet. I've said before how she hates to be on her belly. That hasn't changed. She's rolling over more now. And, somehow this morning she had turned herself in a complete 180 in her bed. I wish I'd taken a picture. So, she is moving on her own. She can maneuver herself in different ways, so whatever her preference is fine by me. We have hardwood floors in our house, and it's cold down there. So, when I read about how you help your child by placing them on the floor, then letting them work it out, it really isn't an option out here. It's cold down there, and blankets only go so far. So, any advice, I'll take it. Anyhow, she can do "So Big", is learning to wave bye-bye, is babbling away, and loves to bang her blocks together. Something new every day, which is wonderful. It's so cool to see things through her eyes. It's a whole new perspective. Well, I think I'll just post my pictures now and head off to bed. Good-night.

Hey Mom, watch this.

Sooo Big!

Well, did you get it?

Here, you need a hug.

Uff-da.
